Barnes & Noble continues making eReaders as it presents the Nook GlowLight Plus-- a model the retailer hopes has one over the Amazon Kindle lineu through the addition of a waterproof and dustproof body.
"The first waterproof and dustproof Nook is ready to take anywhere, offering an immersive reading experience that can be enjoyed in bed and bright sun given our most advanced display with built-in light," the company says.
Construction is in aluminium, with a white front and a bronze-coloured back. The E-Ink display also gets improved over the previous GlowLight model, as resolution now reaches 300 dpi. It also features a glare-proofing and adjustable ambient lighting.
Further features include a battery claiming up to 6 weeks of use on a single charge and Profiles allowing users to access personalised content and recommendation with just a tap on the screen.
The Nook GlowLight Plus is available now.
