E-mail Print PDF

German PC cooling and power supply specialist be quiet! launches the Shadow Rock TF2-- an update on the Shadow Rock TopFlow from 5 years ago, offering 160W TDP cooling capacity from a compact design.

Shadow Rock TF2Ideal for HTPC and SFF builds, the Shadow Rock TF2 features five 6mm high-performance copper heat pipes with aluminium end caps. The cooling fins have direct contact between fins and base plate, a redesign be quiet! says allows for heat dissipation "significantly better than its predecessor."

On top of the cooling unit is a 135mm silence-optimised fan featuring a durable rifle bearing, airflow-optimised fan blades and design promising to produce up to 24.4dB(A) of sound at the maximum 1400 revolutions per minute. Small diagonally arranged fins spread airflow to all components surrounding the CPU, adding to the air flow support for PC case fans.

The cooler measures 112 x 137 x 165mm, allowing it to fit in compact PC cases. Power comes via 4-pin PWM connector, and be quiet! adds pre-applied thermal compound and mounting kits for all Intel- and AMD-based sockets, including AM4.

The Shadow Rock TF2 cooler is available now.
