AOC follows on the 35-inch curved Agon AG353UCG with a smaller monitor offering a faster refresh rate-- the Agon AG273QZ, a 27-inch flat panel display offering a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz and QHD resolution.
The Agon AG273QZ features a 2560 x 1440 resolution TN panel the company claims allows for a wider colour gamut compared to regular TN panels. It is capable of 400 nits peak brightness, together with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 170/160 degree viewing angles, 0.5ms MPRT response time and the aforementioned 240Hz refresh rate.
AOC adds the panel displays 16.7 million colours, reproducing 126.5% of the sRGB, 93.7% of the AdobeRGB and 90% of the DCI-P3 colour gamuts. The monitor is also AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified, and offers connectivity through x2 DisplayPort 1.4 and x2 HDMI 2.0 inputs, as well as a quad-port USB-A hub.
On the audio side, the AG273QZ includes two 5W speakers, microphone in and headphone out. The monitor sits on a stand with height, tilt and swivel adjustments, and can be mounted with a VESA 75x75 arm. It also works in portrait mode.
