Logitech announces the MK850 Performance Wireless Keyboard and Mouse-- a matching peripheral set designed for "all-day comfort and increased productivity" through Bluetooth Smart and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity.
The keyboard is a full-size number complete with cushioned palm rest and "carefully-crafted" keys. It has a slight 3D curvature to help the hands stay at a more natural angle, while the tilt legs in the bottom are adjustable. Logitech adds the batter allows for up to 3 years of service, and the whole thing weighs 733g.
Meanwhile the mouse is designed for right handers. It has a non-slip soft rubber surface, 8 buttons, a "Hyperfast" scroll wheel and a 10000dpi optical tracking sensor. The battery promise up to 2 years of service.
An interesting feature of the MK850 combo is Easy-Switch technology-- essentially one can link the keyboard and mouse with up to 3 different devices. And just as well, since the keyboard is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X, iOS, Chrome OS and Android devices, and the mouse works with Windows, Mac OS X and Chrome OS.
Another feature is DuoLink, a means for users to summon different actions and gestures by pressing a mouse button while holding down the keyboard Fn key. This can be useful for task and screen switching, music control and the like.
The MK850 bundle is available now.
