Anker is the next company to present a range of MFi USB-C to Lightning cables-- the Powerline and Powerline+, described by the company as being among the most durable cables available on the market.
Available in either 90cm or 1.8m lengths, the cables promise extra strenght and a bend lifespan reaching over 5x compared to other cables. The Powerline USB-C to Lightning cable is covered in aramid fibre, while the Powerline+ model is encased in aluminium and reinforced in braided nylon, making it the toughest option.
USB-C to Lightning cables allow customers to fast-charge recent iPhones when paired with a USB-C PD-compatible charger, such as the latest Apple 18W power adapter. The company released a first USB-C to Lightning cable back in 2016, but only got around to allowing 3rd parties to make such cables 3 years later.
Also launched from Anker is a USB-C to Lightning audio adapter-- a means for iDevice users to use EarPods, Beats urBeats 3 and other MFi-certified Lightning headphones on Macs with USB-C ports, as well as the latest iPad Pro.
