Plantronics announces its Calisto 800 at Barcelona's Mobile World Congress, a speakerphone series unifying mobile, landline and pc-based softphone communications.
The company says the device makes it easy to collaborate with users across any device-- ideal for professionals working from home, as it offers full call control with Microsoft Office Communicator and Lync 2010.
A 2.4" colour display and a touch sensitive dial pad allow caller ID viewing, dialing, answering, switching and muting across devices. Audio comes through either speakers and 3.5mm corded or bluetooth headsets. Plantronics also offers a bluetooth lapel accessory (included with the Calisto 825 and 835 models).
The series supports full duplex wideband audio, and carries advanced noice cancellation technology.
