The Fujitsu CeBIT 2012 stand houses the company's second take on the ultrabook format-- the as-yet unnamed 14" Lifebook Premium clad in a handsome matte shade of red.

Lifebook PremiumThe model on show at CeBIT is a non-functional prototype, but Fujitsu says it is physically identical to the finished laptop. It has a 14" frameless display, magnesium housing and weighs 1.5kg.

It will be available in either red or silver, with a soft, fingerprint-proof finish on the the bottom. Connections should include 3G or 4G LTE together with wifi and Bluetooth, while ports include USB 3.0, HDMI and ethernet (via proprietary dongle).

Being somewhat business-oriented, the Lifebook also has a fingerprint reader with a built-in Trusted Platform Module. Shipping should start at around Q3 2012.
