A blog post detailing the success of Chromebooks in Swedish schools holds a device reveal-- the HP Chromebook x360 11 G1 Education Edition.

HP Education ChromebookThe G1 is a 360-degree convertible predictably aimed at the education segment. It features USB-C charging, rear/world-facing camera and optional stylus input, although Google does not specify what stylus(es) the device is compatible with. The company fails to detail what is inside the notebook, instead simply describing it as "the world's thinnest rugged convertible notebook PC."

If one is to take HP's previous ProBook as a guide, the Education Edition probably carries an Intel Celeron or Pentium processor, 8GB RAM and 64GB of built-in storage.

According to Futuresource Chromebooks are the most popular device across laptops and tablets in Swedish schools, accounting for 38% of 2016 educational device sales, up from 18% in 2015. Google adds over 20 million teachers and students use Chromebooks globally, and over 70m use the G Suite for Education.

The HP Chromebook x360 11 G1 Education Edition ships from April 2017.
