Xiaomi enters the arena of high-spec gaming smartphones with the Black Shark-- a black-and-green 6-inch number with a 1080 x 2160 LCD display running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.

The result of Xiaomi investment in Chinese gaming company Black Shark Technology, the Black Shark smartphone superior gaming control through an optional analogue stick controller users can attack to one side of the screen. It also includes true "liquid cooling" claiming temperature reductions of up to 8 degrees Celsius.

In further specifications, the phone carries a 6/8GB RAM, 64/128GB storage, dual-facing camera with 12MP primary/20MP secondary sensors and f/1.75 aperature, and a 4000mAh battery. It runs on Android 8.0 as skinned with the Xiaomi JOY UI, while connectivity comes through USB-C.

The Black Shark smartphone starts shipping in China by end April 2018. The company gives no word on European availability as yet.
