AOC announces an addition to the 90-series gaming monitors-- the G2590FX, a 24.5-inch number featuring 144Hz refresh rate with AMD Radeon FreeSync technology and 1ms response time.

The G2590FX carries a 1920 x 1080 resolution TN panel offering 400 nits brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, and 170°/160° horizontal/vertical viewing angles. Aimed at "most budget-conscious gamers," it comes in a 3-sided frameless design on top of a stand allowing tilt adjustments from -3.5° to 21.5°. VESA mounting is also an option.

FlickerFree technology and a Low Blue Light mode make the monitor more easy on the eyes, while connectivity includes VGA, DisplayPort 1.2 and x2 HDMI 1.4 ports. Users can select a number of game modes-- namely FPS, RTS, Racing and 3 custom modes-- from a multi-language OSD. Shadow Control is present for the fine tuning of details in dark image areas, and one can toggle between a trio of overdrive settings from the OSD.
