The two monitors are near-identical, with the only difference between the two being the MAG273R adds a MSI Mystic Light-enabled RGB strip along a rear extrusion. As such, both displays support AMD FreeSync (30-144Hz) and cover 19% of the DCI-P3 and 139% of the sRGB colour gamut. Further features include HDR capability, 1000:1 contrast ratio, wide viewing angles and anti-flick and low blue light modes. Max brightness clocks at 250 nits.

On the software side the monitors are compatible with the MSI Gaming OSD App 2.0, making it easy for customers to choose between a wide range of gaming and other modes. The app also allows users to set hotkeys to change monitor settings in-game. A built-in 5-way OSD navigation joystick allows for monitor setup without need for the app.

The monitors sit on an adjustable stand with -5-20-degree tilt adjustment. The MAG273R also allows for height adjustment (0-130mm). Customers can replace the stand with a 100x100mm VESA mount. Connectivity comes through x1 USB-B, x2 USB-A, x1 DisplayPort 1.2a and x2 HDMI 2.0 ports, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

MSI will announce when the two monitors start shipping on a later date.
