Power and cooling specialist FSP announces a pair of Windale series CPU coolers-- the Windale 4 and 6, able to handle CPUs with up to 180 and 240W TDPs respectively.
The naming is based on the amount of heat pipes equipped, thus the 4 and 6. Being the larger and more powerful model, the Windale 6 also gets the addition of a black radiator finish and blue LED illuminated fan. FSP says both coolers have direct contact 6mm diameter copper heat pipes for better cooling performance, as well as a patented solder-less louver fin assembly to further increase heat pipe effectiveness.
The 120mm cooling fan spins at 600-1600 RPM (as controlled via PWM) has a low-noise design, with anti-vibration rubber mounting pins minimising noise and vibration. Mounting comes through a universal bracket compatible with the latest Intel and AMD sockets.
The Windale 4 and 6 coolers are available now.
