Gigabyte sets to celebrate the 50th anniversary of AMD with a special edition of the X470 Aorus Gaming 7 Wifi motherboard featuring a custom interchangeable LED accent overlay.
The overlay sits below the 24-pin ATX 12V motherboard power input, and users can change lighting colour via Fusion RGB software. This feature aside, the motherboard is identical to the regular model, being a high-end offering with support for up to 64GB of DDR4-3600 memory, an ESS Sabre ES9118 DAC, Realtek aLC1220-VB HD audio codec and 10+2 phase power delivery.
A metal backplates both prevents bending of the PCB and enhances heat dissipation together with an integrated I/O shield. Further features include built-in USB-C, an ethernet power powered by an Intel I211-AT 1 GbE NIC, MU-MIMO 802.11ac Wi-Fi (via Intel 9260NGW Wave 2 capable adapter) and two M.2 slots complete with individual heat shields.
Gigabyte is still to announce when the special edition X470 Aorus Gaming 7 Wifi motherboard will be available.
