PC specialist Corsair launches the Carbide 175R RGB-- a mid-tower desktop chassis featuring an endge-to-edge tempered glass side panel, full-length PSU cover and, as the name suggests, RGB lighting.
The chassis weights 6.1kg and measures 418 x 210 x 450m, meaning it fits Mini-ITX, Micro ATX or ATX motherboards, as well as GPUs up to 330mm long, CPU coolers 160mm tall and 180mm ATX PSUs. It includes a single 120mm RGB fan, and can fit three 120mm fans or one 140mm fan in the front, two 140mm fans in the top and one 120mm fan in the rear. Customers can also opt for liquid cooling, with space for a radiator measuring up to 360mm.
The case has 7 expansion slots and space for two 2.5- and two 3.5-inch storage devices. The front panel features some I/O in the shape of two USB 3.1 ports and a 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack. As for the lighting, the case has an RGB LED illuminated Corsair logo on the upper front users can control via compatible Asus, Gigabyte and MSI motherboards and control software, but it is not iCUE enabled.
