Super RTX series

Launched less than a year ago, the RTX 20-series graphics cards are the first consumer products from Nvidia based on Turing architecture. The technology features dedicated ray tracing cores for ray tracing acceleration, together with Tensor cores to accelerate AI tasks and game performance and super-fast GDDR6 VRAM.

Three RTX20-series graphics card get the Super boost-- the RTX 2060, 2070 and 2080. The RTX 2060 Super offers a 22% performance boost over the original and 8GB of VRAM (instead of 6GB), while the RTX 2070 is up to 24% faster than the RTX 2070 and claims to be faster than the GTX 1080 Ti. The RTX 2080 Super increases memory speeds to 15.5Gbps, making it around 10-15% faster than the RTX 2080 and faster than the Titan Xp.

The Super editions of the RTX graphics cards start shipping from July 2019 via Nvidia partners including Asus, Colorful, EVGA, Gainward, Galaxy, Gigabyte, Innovision 3D, MSI, Palit, PNY and Zotac.
