Inhon Intros Blade 13 Carbon

E-mail Print PDF

You probably never heard of Inhon, but the obscure Taiwanese OEM might soon rise to fame with the Blade 13 Carbon-- an ultrabook the company claims is the thinnest and lightest yet.

Blade 13 CarbonThe 13-inch device is 10.7mm thick, beating the previous record holder, the 12.8mm NEC Lavie X. It also weighs all of 870g and carries either Core i5 or i7 CPU, 1920x1080 resolution display, 128/256GB SSD storage and 4GB RAM.

Inhon also offers a lower cost, heavier (1.2kg) and thicker (12.6mm) variant with a 1600x900 display and a fibreglass (rather than carbon) chassis.

The Blade 13 Carbon should hit Taiwanese shelves on June 2013, just in time for Computex 2013 and and the Intel Haswell CPU launch.
