Fujitsu announces a quartet of FMV Series PCs at Computex 2013-- the Lifebook UH90/L touchscreen-equipped ultrabook, the Esprimo FH78/LD desktop PC and the AH45/K and AH42/K notebooks.
The thinnest ultrabook around according to the company, the UG90/L features a 14-inch 3200x1800 resolution IGZO LCD touchscreen. Powering images for such a display is a Haswell i5-4500U CPU, while a 500GB hybrid HDD/SSD provides storage.
Fujitsu describes the "ultra-compressed, solid core" industrial design as "resembling a single strong plank," and claims is strong enough to withstand around 200kg of top-down pressure.
Meanwhile the FH78/LD is a 23-inch desktop PC running on a Haswell 2.4GHz Core i7 CPU. An unusual-looking monitor stand packs a 30W speaker system (a co-development with Pioneer) complete with x2 10W stereo speakers and a 10W subwoofer, while storage comes through a 3TB HDD.
Also included is eye tracking assistance technology allowing the selection of Windows 8 charms and scrolling through Internet Explorer 10 web pages through the power of one's eye movements.
Left for last are a duo of more humble Lifebook notebooks-- the AH45/K (with a battery promising 6.4 hours of usage) and the AH45/K (now with upgraded Intel Pentium 2020M CPU).
