Logitech launches the Harmony Smart Keyboard, a device promising "the power of Harmony universal remotes in a keyboard and touchpad specially designed for the living room."
Compatible with a wide range of devices-- specifically 225000 home entertainment devices from 5000 brands according to Logitech says-- the Smart Keyboard integrates guide/pause/play control buttons and game console navigation options within the familiar QWERTY setup.
The included Harmony Hub pushes commands from the keyboard or smartphones (via Harmony app) to up to 8 devices via IR, RF and Bluetooth. The Hub needs no line of sight, meaning customers can safely hide it in a cabinet together with other receivers and STBs.
The Harmony Smart Keyboard hits markets later by end March 2014.
