LaCie announces its fastest portable storage solution yet-- the LaCie Little Big Disk, a Thunderbolt 2-equipped number promising speeds of up to 1375MB/s in a package fitting inside a laptop bag.
It carries a pair of 500GB PCIe SSDs (for a total of 1TB storage), and can be daisy chained with another Little Big Disk to deliver speeds of up to 2600MB/s when connected to a Mac Pro.
Dual-Thunderbolt 2 ports also allow daisy chaining with other devices to create a plug-and-play video editing environment.
The Little Big Disk also features a USB 3.0 port, as well as two heat-dissipating aluminium plates and a larger thermoregulated fan.
