Lenovo announces an update on its Yoga lineup of convertible tablets and notebooks-- the Yoga Tablet 2, the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro and the Yoga 3 Pro, with models featuring multiple screen sizes.

Yoga TAblet 2An update on the 2013 Yoga Tablet, the Yoga Tablet 2 comes in 8- or 10-inch models running on either Android or Windows. Lenovo says the kickstand is improved with a mode dubbed "hang" allowing users to, well, hang the tablet to display content.

The kickstand still handles the 3 modes from the original model, namely "hold," "tilt" and "stand."

Hardware-wise the Yoga Tablet 2 carries an Intel Atom processor, dual front speakers with Dolby Audio and Wolfson Hifi technology, 8 MP rear-facing camera and connectivity via wifi and micro USB port.

The Yoga Tablet 2 Pro is an entertainment-focused version of the Yoga Tablet 2, being a 13-inch tablet with a built-in pico projector and an 8W sound system complete with subwoofer. It features a 2560x1440 display, while the projector beams 50-inch images in 16:9 format.

Yoga 3Lenovo claims battery life reaches up to 15 hours, or 3 hours in projector mode.

The final Yoga launch is the Yoga 3 Pro, an ultra-slim (12.8mm thin) convertible PC featuring a distinctive watchband hinge built from over 800 pieces of steel and aluminum.

The hinge allows use as either a traditional laptop or tablet, with the touchscreen laid 180-degrees flat. The 3200x1800 resolution display is built in Gorilla Glass, and powering all is an Intel Core M processor.

All the above mentioned Lenovo offerings are available from October 2014.
