Cooler Master Adds OLED to Sentinel III Mouse

E-mail Print PDF

Cooler Master hopes the Sentinel III stands out from the gaming mouse competition with the inclusion of OLED display together with the more typical RGB lighting and customisable DPI.

Sentinel IIIThe OLED display is set back from the mouse wheel and not only shows current DPI settings, but also allows one to make DPI adjustments (400/1200/400/6400 DPI) in-game, without need to open software. In addition, a small 32x32 area allows users to upload a logo or any kind of graphic.

A 32-bit ARM CPU and 512KB of memory store and process recorded macros, key-remaps, profiles and light configurations, while an Avago 3988 sensor promises precise movement tracking with zero hardware acceleration. Cooler Master adds the 8 buttons feature mechanical switches, with the two main buttons rated at 20 million clicks, and the body is coated in a "highly durable" matte UV coating.

The Sentinel III ships complete with a 1.8m braided cable from December 2015.
