Kingston Presents HyperX Savage EXO Portable SSD

Kingston adds a pair of SSDs to the HyperX storage lineup-- the Savage EXO portable SSD and the Fury RGB SSD, both promising faster storage through the use of 3D NAND technology.

HyperX Savage EXOThe Savage EXO SSD is available in 480 or 960GB capacities, and offers read speeds of up to 500MB/s and write speeds of 400MB/s. It comes in a compact form factor measuring 123.82 x 48.61 x 10.24mm and weighing just 56g, and is compatible with Windows and Mac PCs as well as Xbox One and PS4 consoles. Connectivity comes via USB-C interface.

Meanwhile the Fury RGB SSD is aimed at gaming, overclocking PCs and DIY system builds. It offers 550MB/s read and 480MB/s write speeds, and includes a lightbar to provide customisable RGB lighting effects. It is compatible with motherboards supporting RGB lighting and multiple RGB devices, and can be daisy chained to sync lighting effects across system internals.

The Fury RGB SSD is available in 240, 480 and 960GB capacities as either a standalone SSD or in an upgrade bundle kit complete with USB 3.0 enclosure, 3.5-inch bracket, mounting screws, RGB cable, SATA data cable, USB-A to mini-USB cable and HDD cloning software.
