MSI presents a first mousepad featuring RGB lighting effects-- the Agility GD60, a product aimed at gamer customers promising a "special silky smooth textile surface" allowing for swift mouse movements.
The Agility GD60 measures 386 x 276 x 4mm, and uses a micro-textile material suitable for both laser and optical mice. The non-slip base is in natural rubber, while the top of pad has a USB cable connecting to a control box with a single button. A short press of the button changes LED colour, and a long press toggles through lighting effects.
In total, the pad features 6 preset lighting colours and 5 effects, namely steady, breath, flash, fade and stream. Alas the Agility GD60 does not integrate with PC lighting systems such as MSI Mystic Light, and the edge of the pad and MSI logo on the control box act as a single zone.
MSI says the Agility GD60 will be available "very soon" in select countries.
