Performance PC memory maker G.Skill announces a DDR4 memory series for use with the AMD Ryzen 3000 series CPUs on the X570 platform-- the Trident Z Neo, with optimised specifications within a sleek dual-tone heatspreader design.

GSkill trident

The Ryzen 3000 series platform handles memory speeds of up to DDR4-5774MHz, the fastest achieved on an AMD platform (if under extreme liquid nitrogen cooling). G.Skill claims the Trident Z Neo is engineered to "achieve optimal performance" on the platform, with frequency speeds reaching DDR4-3600 at CL14-15-15-35 timings at 1.4V during tests using an X570-based motherboard with a 6-core Ryzen 5 3600 processor.

All modules are individually crafted with hand-screened ICs and custom 10-layer PCBs. Kits are available at 16, 32 and 64GB capacities in various configurations. The modules feature a heatspreader design in black brushed aluminium and powder-coated silver, with an asymmetric division between the two zones. RGB lighting is also included, and the LEDs are compatible with Trident Z, Asus Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light and ASRock Polychrome lighting control software.

The Trident Z Neo RGB DDR4 memory kits are available by end July 2019.
