Philips announces a pair of additions to the B-Line consumer range-- the 241B7QUBHEB and 272B7QUBHEB, IPS LCD monitors featuring 24- and 27-inch QHD panels respectively and hybrid USB dock functionality.

Philips B-Line monitorThe built-in USB docking station comes complete with DisplayLink Technology offering the convenience of universal port replication, allowing users to easily connect notebooks to networks, transfer files, watch videos and more, all through a single dual-mesh USB cable with Type-C and Type-A connectors. All peripherals, including keyboard, mouse and RJ-45 ethernet cable, can connect to the docking station, reducing cable clutter.

DisplayPort-out allows the linking of multiple high-resolution displays with just one cable, while USB 3.2 SuperSpeed+ technology brings faster data transfers, even during the powering and charging of notebooks directly from the monitor.

On the visual side, the monitors provide max 75Hz refresh, wide 178/178-degree viewing angles, 1000:1 contrast ratio and both low blue light and flicker free modes. The 27-inch model offers 132% sRGB colour gamut coverage and 350cd/m2 peak brightness, while the 24-inch model features 102% sRGB coverage and 250cd/m2 brightness.

Further features include stereo (2W) speakers, 2MP pop-up webcam with mic and LED indicator (compatible with Windows Hello), Kensington lock, VESA mount options and plug-and-play compatibility with both Windows and MacOS X. The included stand offers height (90-degrees), swivel (175-degrees) and tilt (-5/30-degrees) adjustability, and a PowerSensor reduces brightness by up to 80% in case it does not detect a human presence for a period of time.

The two monitors are available now.
