MSI launches a 15-inch addition to the Modern laptop range-- the Modern 15, designed for less demanding lifestyle tasks and entertainment applications featuring up to the latest 10th gen Intel Core i7 processors.
As well as a 14nm Comet Lake processor, the Modern 15 offers NVMe SSD storage (with x2 slots available) and the option of discrete Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics with 2GB GDDR5 memory. The design looks fairly premium, with an aluminium and sandblasted black-coated chassis, thin bezels offering up to 90% screen to body ratio, 1080p IPS display and a backlit keyboard with 1.5mm key travel.
Further features include up to 64GB RAM in two DDR4-266 slots, M.2 SSD Combo Slot (NVMe PCIe Gen3/SATA), a selection of ports including x1 USB-C, x1 USB-A Gen 1, x2 USB-A Gen 2 and x1 HDMI, microSD slot and a battery claiming up to 9 hours of power on a single charge. In total the laptop measures 356.8 x 233.7 x 15.9mm, and weighs 1.6kg.
