As all attentions are on AMD at the upcoming Ryzen Threadripper 3000 launch Colorful announces a micro-ATX motherboard for the X570 chipset-- the CVN X570M Gaming Pro motherboard.
Based on the previous CVN X570 Gaming Pro V14 ATX model, the CVN X570M offers a similar feature set within a smaller micro-ATX frame. The company says the design revolves around CVN class aircraft carriers, and sets to "fly gamers into the battle that use AMD's Ryzen 3000 processors." Colorful is still to provide detailed specs, but does say the motherboard features two full-length PCIe 4.0 slots running at x16 and x16+x4 or x16+x8, together with two PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots.
The chipset heatsink includes active cooling, while a pair of two-tone silver heatsinks cools the power delivery. One of the aforementioned heatsinks doubles as the rear panel cover of the board. A single 8-pin 12V ATX power input powers the CPU, while a standard 24-pin 12V ATX input delivers power to the rest of the board. Also included are x6 SATA ports with support for RAID 0, 1 and 10 arrays, and x4 memory slots with DDR4 memory support.
Connectivity in the rear panel consists of x1 USB-C, x1 USB-A G2, x4 USB-A G1 and x2 USB 2.0 ports. A Realtec audio codec takes care of the 3.5mm jack, and HDMI and DisplayPort video outputs allow use with compatible Ryzen APUs. Also included are a PS/2 combo port and an ethernet port powered by a Realtek RTL8111H Gigabit controller.
Colorful is still to announce when the CVN X570M hits the market.
