Teamgroup announces what it claims is the first RAM featuring "full-screen light guiding technology"-- the T-Force Xtreem ARGB Gaming Memory, replete with RGB LEDs and mirror-finished aluminium heat spreaders.
The mirrored heat spreaders allow the memory modules to reflect the light emitted by the RGB LEDs inside the lightbar on top, illuminating the entire surface of the module. Teamgroup says it is the result of a mixture of "light-spluttering" and light guiding technology, and makes for a more striking effect than the lighting strips found in typical gaming memory modules.
The T-Force Xtreem ARGB modules are compatible with most popular lighting control software, including Asus Aura and Gigabyte RGB Fusion, and users can also disable the lighting effects while retaining the mirror look. As for the actual memory, the modules offer speeds from DDR4-3200 up to DDR4-4800, and feature built-in one-click overclocking on both Intel or AMD platforms.
The memory modules are available now in a 2x8GB configuration and a choice of 3200, 3600, 4000 or 4800MHz variants.
