The PSUs are compliant with 80 Plus Bronze requirements, meaning they are 80-88% efficient under a 20% or 50% load, as well as 81-85% efficient under a 100% load. EVGA says the 750 and 850W models use 100% Japanese capacitors, and feature a no-fan/Eco mode able to shut down the 135mm fluid dynamic bearing fan under low and medium loads. Protection is also included through  OVP (Over Voltage Protection), UVP (Under Voltage Protection), OCP (Over Current Protection), OPP (Over Power Protection), SCP (Short Circuit Protection), and OTP (Over Temperature Protection).

The 850W model has six 8-pin PCIe connectors, the 750W model features four 8-pin PCIe power plugs, the 650W option has three and the entry-level 550W PSU has two. All models also include SATA and Molex plugs. The PSUs measure 150 x 50 x 86mm, allowing them to fit in any standard ATX case, and the modular design allows for flexibility in system design.

The B5-series PSUs are available now.
