A startup takes to Indiegogo to launch what claims to be the thinnest iPhone battery case yet-- the Air Case, an accessory adding just 3.8mm in thickness to the smartphone.

The Air Case is compatible with the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6S, and 6S Plus, and weighs all of 69g. It carries a 2400mAh battery the maker claims doubles the power available to the iPhone, adding over 8 hours of use.

Customers wondering where from they can get replacement tips for the Pencil stylus? Now they need to wonder no more, as Apple is selling such tips in boxes of four.

The Pencil package includes an extra tip, but until this week there was no way for customers to get replacement tips, be it from Apple or anyone else.

Cooler Master announces a pair of minimalist RGB-lit mechanical keyboards-- the full-size MasterKeys Pro L and the compact Pro S, both featuring Cherry MX keyswitches and "brilliant" RGB illumination.

The two keyboards offer multiple lighting modes, with responsive presets including colour wave and breathing, among others. Cooler Master says the built-in LEDs can radiate up to 16.7 million colours, and users can customise the lighting through included software.

Accessory maker Corsair announces an upgrade of the Sabre RGB gaming mouse-- one featuring a 10000 dpi sensor for "superior accuracy and fast gameplay" together with four-zone multicolour backlighting.

Further improving the mouse is a 1000Hz USB polling rate and 8 programmable buttons complete with "high-performance" switches, all within an ergonomic, lightweight (just 100g, Corsair says) design. Included in the package is a 1.8m braided easy-flex USB cable.

A startup named LMcable takes to Kickstarter to produce what it claims is a first cable featuring a 2-in-1 connector able to charge both Lightning and micro USB devices.

Described as "the only charging cable you ever need," the LMcable has a reversible connector offering Lightning connectivity on one side and a micro USB on the other. In addition the product features a a 1m long stitched leather cable complete with tin-plated copper wires and a brass knuckle for easy coiling.

iDevice accessory maker Adonit announces a pair of styluses-- the Mark and Switch, with the Mark being the entry-level model while the Switch is the more premium option.

The Mark is a standard mesh-typped stylus, if one with a number of interesting features such as an anti-roll design and an aluminium body. It is available in either silver or black colours to match Silver and Space Gray iDevices.

LG still has not announced the G5 smartphone, but such won't stop it from announcing a first accessory for the unannounced flagship-- a Quick Cover featuring a touch-sensitive semi-transparent mesh cover.

The Korean company is aware of the absurdity behind the announcement, saying it is actually proof LG is so ahead of the times it is ready to reveal an accessory before the actual product it is designed for. As one does, of course.

As for the Quick Cover, the case allows users to take calls and control alarm settings without need to open the case, making it "the ultimate in convenience." It has a transparent window allowing lets one check the time, date and notifications on the G5's "Always-on-Display" (since the smartphone constantly shows basic information in a black-and-white state).

Accessory maker Speck presents the Pocket VR with CandyShell Grip, a combination of virtual reality viewer and phone case featuring a compact, collapsable design.

The Pocket VR is a Google Cardboard-certified viewer for 3D content, virtual reality and augmented reality experiences. It features a foldable design users can easily store in bags or pockets while protecting the all important lenses.
