Accessory maker Catalyst claims the Catalyst iPad Pro case is the first "fully-waterproof" case for the device, with an IP68 waterproof rating allowing protection in water depths of up to 2m.

In addition it also boasts military-grade protection against bumps and drops via rubber bumper framing, while still providing access for charging cables and headphones. A non-recessed hard-coated optical lens protects the camera lens, while a touchscreen film promises to allow Touch ID and Apple Pencil functionality.

Pebble presents what it claims is the thinnest and lightest smartwatch around-- the Pebble Time Round, the first device from the company featuring a circular colour ePaper display.

Essentially a tweaked version of the recent Pebble Time, the Pebble Time Round is 7.5mm thin and weighs all of 28g (in comparison the Apple Watch is 10.5mm thick and 40g heavy). It comes in 20mm and 14mm band sizes, and features an always-on ePaper display one can check in direct light or the dark via LED backlight.

External battery pack maker Hyper announces the HyperJuice Magic Box-- an adapter allowing customers to charge the 12-inch Regina MacBook at full 29W rate using HyperJuice battery packs.

The company also offers a Magic Box version compatible with regular USB battery packs, for MacBook charging reaching up to 12W.

The adapter converts the DC output of a HyperJuice battery to a USB-C connection via smart IC for "fast and safe" 29W charging. Meanwhile the 12W Magic Box features a USB to USB-C adapter allowing one to use any USB battery pack with the new MacBook.

A startup named Handscape believes iDevices should not be operated solely from the touchscreen-- through the HandyCase one can use such mobile devices by tapping and swiping from behind.

Described as "see-through technology," the HandyCase is a silicon protective case with touch capability. In addition it overlays animated fingers to the screen, making the phone or tablet "transparent."

It connects to devices via Bluetooth Smart, and promises to allow apps to take advantage of every finger from each hand, with technology ensuring no accidental clicks take place. The makers also say developers can easily add HandyCase capability to apps via API.

Apple is not the only company with a keyboard-case combo for the iPad Pro-- Logitech announces the Create Keyboard Case, the first from a 3rd party compatible with the tablet's Smart Connector.

“With a full-size keyboard designed to work with iOS 9, the Logitech Create will help make the iPad Pro a creativity and productivity powerhouse," the company says. "Even the colour and finish of the keyboard are meticulously crafted to feel and look like the other half of your iPad Pro.”

The Raspberry Pi micro-PC gets an official touchscreen accessory-- the result of 2 years of development following issues with standards, connectivity and manufacturers.

Based on an industrial-quality Inelco Hunter display, the touchscreen is a 7-inch 800x480 resolution number offering 10-point capacitive touch input. It connects to the Raspberry Pi via DSI (display serial interface) connector, allowing users to connect a second monitor via HDMI port.

Cooler Master launches the Quick Fire XTi-- a mechanical keyboard promising to provide "the ultimate in minimal design and sleek simplicity," as well as multi-colour LED backlighting.

Aimed at gamers and enthusiast customers, the Quick Fire XTi features Cherry MX switches, on-the-fly macro and profile support, customisable multicolour per-key backlighting, NKRO, 1000Hz polling, Windows key lock and a detachable gold plated cable.

The keys are UV-coated for long-lasting use, and customers can choose between red, brown or blue Cherry MX switches as per tectile preference. Meanwhile backlighting comes in red and blue, creating a choice of 35 colours per key, as well as lighting modes such as wave, breathing and responsive effects.

Customers wanting a portable full-size keyboard might be in luck with the LG Rolly Keyboard (KBB-700), a self-descriptive device users can roll up into a "stick" for easy carrying in pockets or bags.

The Rolly Keyboard features a 17mm key pitch (most desktop keyboards have 18mm pitch) with "satisfying" tactile feedback. Construction is in polycarbonate and ABS plastic, and a pair of foldable arms smartphones and tablets in an upright position.
